There are a few things that store brands are just not acceptable:

Off the top of my head I can think of, Peanut Butter, Mac and Cheese, and canned Ravioli.

Always get Jif, Kraft, and Chef Boyardi respectively.

Hmmm, and many many many store-brand things are quite swell.

Right off the bat -- Shop Rite Iced Tea. Best ever, the rest is pure shit-o .

I just had the ravioli yesterday, can't say too much about it.... but I, honestly, loathe Macaroni & Cheese. Go figure.

Shop Rite deli meats are swell, too... thanks to some guy I have founded Thin-Sliced Chicken Breast... never knew that existed... oh no!



Cheese. American cheese sucks unless it is supermelted, Portuguese cheese & Portuguese "Fresh" cheese are awesome. To the rest of the cheeses out there -- bleep you .

I loved mac and cheese! I grew up on that crap, and it was the firs thing I learned how to "cook". In fact I made some for dinner tonight. But mine was more fancy with a home made rue (or howver the french spell it) and 3 kinds of cheese! But it still wasn't as good as my beloved cheese and shells delux.. mmmm

As for regular cheese, I love it!
All kinds of it. I am particularly fond of sour cheeses like blue cheese and the less sour swiss.
But the place I work has a good store brand of rizoto... fancy rice.

Haha, yes, when it comes to me actually cooking, I "cook" ramen and muffins. That's about all I know, and no one teaches me anything. I've tried to make grilled cheese, bacon, and scrambled eggs.... none of them work, which is so discouraging. Maybe some people would actually farkin' HELP ME .
