yeah... I spent $30 for a copy of HOV Linux and have played an HOV game a total of 1 time... Nothing but LCC is worth playing, as far as I've found.

Wouldn't it be neat if we had some way to say that we were available for playing without actually joining the game and sitting around? I haven't been playing lately because I've got better things to do than sit in the game, practicing my moves with nobody there

It'd be cool if there was a little app like my Gnome panel applet that we could run when we're available for playing; could talk to a simple HTTP server... Heck, it could just be a regular web app, come to think of it... People could just type in their name in a form, it would pop up a new browser window that sat in a META refresh loop until someone else registered interest, and then pop up an alert when that happens. Or something.

Maybe I'll code something up, if people are interested in something like this.

I know I post a lot of these, but....

Err, I don't like being bored. So I image burned (as in the opposite of dodge) the Ragnar from the Rune box and did another epilepsy thing. It is becoming a habit, sorry folks .

Just be glad I didn't make him dance this time....

Epileptic Ragnar was kind of lackluster... but now that I made Disco Ragnar, life has a meaning! Didn't know he was such a good boogie-er. Yay Ragnar.

Too bad you couldn't make a skin that would do that... or could you... hmmmmmmm...

Would have to be a .pcx format with the engine programmed to accept an animated texture on the character. Would probably work but seriously stress the vid card out.

open console and type...
admin set runei.playersarkaxe scaleglow -420

Of course don't use sarkaxe if yer not one .

That will make any skin look like that and different numbers make some pretty neat colors hehe
