I'm either gonna get a 9800XT.. or if I wanna go all out like Pencil, an x800. But I'm gonna end up just upgrading my whole system once I get a job.. 1.7GHz just doesn't cut it anymore.

Yeah, I don't need to upgrade to play, but I am going to anyway.
I am too poor to justify an x800 so I am going 9800xt powercolor maybe

I just need a processor, something to keep that cool, memory, harddrive, and i guess a floppy drive and dvd-rw dual layer and im set.

Wow that is crazy. I only have a 200gig and that still has about 50 gigs full. I only have a little over 300 songs, no stored vids or ISOs... so yeah
