yeah you have to go at least 2 gigs to avoid that

my board has dual channel. But i noticed that when i had 2 sticks of 512. it made no difference single channel or dual.

I will eventually when i ahve $50 extra buy another stick of 512 to get 2 gigs. for what the hell lol.

I just bought a e-VGA 6600GT. I have a guy selling me a Asus 6800GT 128mb for $200 CAD. Good deal i think. Ill prolly go for it after my ram and hardrive purchase. I guess my 6600GT will go into my second computer until i sell it or something

My second comp is at dads with his sweet ass 7mbit cable connection. I use it to lightly game or do whatever wehn im over there. Plus he needed an upgrade from the old 800mhz tbird.

Cool, i have dual channel ram. For a while, i had to things of 512 that were different brands so they hated each other and went to pc 2700 instead of 3200. But now i have pc 3200 dual channel. My ram likes each other now.

My reason is I have been very busy at work ( we got taken over by new owners ) and I am playing way too much BF2. At my work I used to have one owner and his son, now I have 6! It was hard enough to break in 2 owners before, now I have to somehow not offend/weird-out 6 people!!! It's tough but they seem to be really cool guys, and I really only deal with 2 of them, the other 4 are silent partners. The best part..... my old owner was a millionaire, so he had no reason to make the Pub busier/better. These new guys owe the bank A LOT o' money so they are doing all kinds of new stuff. Makes my job exciting again and the atmosphere is improving instead of staying stagnant. So far so good anyway.

Yeah Socket...... the guys from awesome town made that as a pilot to send to Fox, but they got turned down, so SNL hired the one guy as an actor and the other two as writers. Or so I've been told anyway .
