i have a logitech g5 laser mouse. it is a piece of shit.

$2 are always the best ones. What do you need from mouse except a couple of buttons, a wheel and movements ability? I wonder why the hell people buy mouses for 50$...

Pencil.... I don't use my mousewheel too much (mostly hotkeys and sidebars) but the reason I like mine so much is you can adjust the DPI on the fly. That way when I get in a tank it doesn't take me 2 hours to rotate the turret while Bastards try to plant C4 on my ass ,then when I get out/eject I flip it back down so I don't do 360s whenever I take a corner. Dunno , it really works for me, but the optional weights I was just going to sell to some drug dealer. I mean who wants a heavier mouse lol? Unless you are training for some LAN Olympics the weights are pretty useless .

Oh and Eis.... do get a Laser mouse over an Optical one for sure. It makes a huge difference. I can't even see the red dot on my mouse pad, and if I move it 1 pixel, it moves 1 pixel. Very sensitive and I could never go back now.

get an mx500 or mx518, eis.

mx500 is prettier but no dpi changing, mx518 has higher dpi (for, like fista said, making sniping or jumping in tanks in bf or ut2k4 easier). those razor mice are hella-queer.

logitech g5 has nothing going for it, the weights are useless and i only use two of the light ones (so it weighs as much as my mx518 and mx500... golly gee). an mx500 laser mouse would be great but i see no advantage.

and pok... some of us need the sensitivity and extra side buttons :).

Ive gone through an mx700 now an mx600 and goin to a G7..

So far mx600 laser mosue has been best purchase so far.

and on other topic. if NCIX is as quick as they normally are. The LCA server should be up... Thursday!

the G7 looks good to me, but i don't know whether it's worth the price... hm... i can't decide on a mosue yet

Still, mouse is the last thing I would change in PC...
