THE LAST SWORD OF THE WARRIOR

Your mighty power of war,
You have killed so many men,
Have done bloody work,
Every swish was a promise of death,
Every last breath, was lost,
In the moment, as the blade cut
A life and hundred of souls are done, than thousand, it's the end.

Now the blade is dark and red,
It's at the top of the highest mountain,
A legend of itself,
A tale of blood and gore,
Warriors are nevermore.

But you still hear the whispers,
Of silent screams, when you grab the sword,
When you swing the blade in the moonshine,
You remember all and nothing,
Cause in a way war seems devine.
Cut the throuht of your enenemy,
Destroy your heart with rage,
It doesn't matter, it's always the same,
It's always an age,
Of death and war, of the mighty blade,
A sword full of anger and bloody compassion,
And honor not forget to mention!

But who cuts the men?
Who brings them down?
Which power is it now?
As you lie in the grass,
Your breath beomes the last,
Defeated by your anger,
Destroyed what there was.

And still the sowrd is glimming in the fading moonshine,
Always remembering of battles that were meant to help,
But only offered suffering.

I can't stand this anymore,
I take that sword,
One last time,
Take my soul,
Because it was mine.

And when I die there, the sword still stands arise,
A deadly wish,
I see my friends, not my enemies and understand,
What I've been fighting for,
Was to make a stand,
To hold of the enemy,
That just seeks my blood, gore and wants my life,
But couldn't understand, what am I, what we are!
They lost the moment they killed the folk,
My friends, my life, my family,
Is gone.
Still remains the sword,
Metal of honor,
Meant to bring death and peace,
But never, believe it -- releaf...

Thank you gents Smile

Well, Master Impaler, this particular phrase is somehow very hard to interpret, I guess, but I wanted to say, the warrior dies, but still, the sowrd is "alive", can cut another throut, only time will tell, when that will happen. The tools of destruction prevail, but the destroyers not.

For the spelling errors, maybe someone could mark them? Would be very kind.

Best wishes and many thanx to you all. And now just for Socket:

"Movie, two words..."
"First is an H"
"Harry?"
"Yeah"
"Dirty Harry?"
"No..."
"Harry ... a flower... Flowerman Harry?"
"Nope."
"Ahh... I GOT IT!"
"Really?"
"Harry Flowerpot..."
"Hmpf"
"Harry Potter!!!"

Nice poem.
I want you to read this one. I translated it as I can so sorry for mistakes; I hope youll get the main idea.
Author Michael Lermontov, 1841

Captive knight

Im sitting in silence under my dungeons window
I can see blue skies there
Free birds are playing there
I feel pain and shame when I see them

There isnt a sinful pray on my mouth
There isnt a lay about my glory
I can remember nothing but battles,
Heavy sword and iron armor

Now Im in a stone armor
Stone helmet is pressing my head
My shield is broken
My steed is running without me

Fast time is my horse now
My cage is my helmet
High walls are my armor
And gates are my shield

So run faster volatile time!
New armor is stuffy for me!
Death will hold my stirrup
I will dismount and cast my helmet away

Some of my depressive stuff:

Dust

I look around and see
There's no place for me
I ask myself
Is it meant to be?
I feel the grim wind
Freezing my skin
Dust flows down the street
And the sun's not rising

Black clouds filled
The crimson skies
I see nothing but despair
In people's eyes
I wonder how long
There will be no sun
From this devastation
You cannot run

walking deads without souls
Trying to get control
Under same soulless dolls
Money cash hoes
Darkness all around
Black smoke and this sound
Of dust pressing us
Are all I have found

Life has no power
There's growing a flower
But in the sea of dust
It would die in an hour
Our souls are bleeding
Faith is ruining
There's nothing to live for
In this way of living

Throttling in the dust,
We must walk through
The lust around us, trust
Got lost in the gust
Hatered grows fast
But everything's not
Lost for us
Flowers would last

Desperate (written as an answer to one russian girl, so the begining may sound weird for ya)

Yeah
I remember how it always was
You feel the pain under the rain
You're desperate because
All of these hurts, all of these hates
Are amplified in dews
And all this laugh inside their eyes
Is just despairing you

Your fairy dreams and stupid hopes
That brought you back to life
Are mixed with mud just like your blood
Upon the blade of knife
And every person who was any intemate to you
Laughing with them and only then
It's veritable point of view

You're getting hurt by all these thoughts that you are trying to hide
You cannot pass through smoke and gass
That throttling you inside
Through lack of light, eternal night
And darkness on your way
You cannot fight you've lost your might
You cannot break away

You're drowning in the sea of your own blood and tears
You try to run away from sun
Lost in those stupid fears
You see no light, within your life there's nothing good at all
You cannot take all of this ache
You've got to fall

so Gay a flower bereaved the mind
as if it were a woe,
is Beauty an affliction, then?
tradition ought to know.
