Just wanted to let you all know that last Thursday I was rushed to the hospital for an emergency operation. Long story, if you wanna know I'll tell you, but I guess it was pretty serious. (ie life threatening)

I'm going to be staying with my parents for the next 2 to 4 weeks because there's a lot of stuff I just can't do right now so staying by myself is probably not a good idea.

I don't have my computer or anything here (which means I won't be gaming) but I plan on getting it here and set up within the next few days.

Yeah, I know how it is - my mom had an operation right because of appendix a few weeks ago. Take care man.

Well I'd been sick all week and for a few days had bouts with abdomen pain that was so bad I couldn't move. I've got a fairly good threshold for pain, and this is something I just can't describe. I knew there was a real problem on Thursday when there was blood in my urine.

So when the pain hit me again Thursday night I gave in Jessica who'd been bugging me to go to the doctor all week. They ran a bunch of tests and determined the 'blood' in my urine wasn't actually blood. It was bile from my liver. Ran some more tests on my liver, etc and they come to the conclusion that I have gallstones. They were so bad that it was blocking an important duct to my liver which was restricting bloodflow to it, infecting it, and causing it to slowly die if the stones weren't removed immediately. I also had a stone blocking part of my pancreas which gave me pancreatitis.

Long story short, I have no more gall bladder and obviously no more stones. The surgery has really made me weak. I'll be around.

Well at least you seem to be past any critical phase ( I hope ). Here's to you getting better soon . Just outta curio did they use sound waves to blast the stones into dust or did they actually have to remove them whole? I have heard they do both. Well I am looking on the bright side and assuming we will have Cyber-Mano soon . See if you can get extra RAM installed in yer arm or sumthin while yer at it hehe . Please take care and get better, or we will have to clone you! Do we have a low caliber DNA bank yet? If not then why not???

Fista, they removed them all with kind of a cool way of operating. They made three small incisions. Two around the gall bladder and one by my belly-button. They stick a camera up by my belly-button and then use one of the other cuts to chop up my gall bladder and the third cut to remove it piece by piece.
