Banning Shady is admitedly a good idea, but would not then we be like he?
If Shady ran this forum it would run like this:
1 Someone posts
2 Shady insults them
3 Shady bans them for out-thinking him
4 Repeat

And how else to train new people in Rune?
1 Quit laming lamer!
2 What's a lamer?
3 Shady joins Shady lames (lots hehe)
4 Newbie gets lightbulb over head!

I think diversity is good... and Shady is bad lol,
but diversity weighs way more than Shady.
Equal parts all = harmony

Every pantheon needs both light and dark, and the "Thing slug poo finds offensive" Shady is pretty dark.Hey look on the bright side he makes us all look really great by comparison.

Well he has been booted from just about every server that I have played for being himself. This isn't just Rune, it stretches from many online computer games. Also he doesn't come here often enough to consider himself as a balance(Directed to Fister). But when he does come, it is more or less softcore rather then his hardcore rudness. All in all though it is a pain and utter annoyance. I don't see why we couldn't give him a boot to. As Imp said "One more outlash then bye bye Shady".

I see Fisty's point, but not only does he make people see what a true lamer is and make us look good in comparison, but it might make this forum and maybe the server and LCC itself look sort of bad. If we have idiots like Shady running around acting like a jackass, then people might think that the rest of us are just like him. Maybe we could sort of keep him around, but we need to make it damn clear that he is NOT one of us or else he might give the forum a bad image. That is my view on it all...

call me crazy but i think shady is a funny diversity, once you get over being offended by him he's actually very amusing to watch.

I want him out. NOW. It was very peaceful for awhile when he never came on the server and we went about or own business. I am getting sick of fighting him off of the newbies and members that aren't accustomed to his dark evil ways. I want him banned from the forums and ventrilo. And I want him brought down in rank even more then "In Good Standings with Low Caliber"

I disagree with banning him. Just putting my opinion. And i do agree wit Fister. It's a balance. And damn you danter for the finger thing i had to take a look at it.

This is the kind of crap I'm talking about. I'm normally very mild mannered but I cannot stand his comments on the board.

It's not like he'll be saddened if we moderate him. He sits back and gets a bunch of laughs at our expense and I'm sick of letting it go on. He can be taken care of on the server, I'm just talking about cleansing the board of him.

I know you're upset Mano; but I really enjoyed the replies on his post; it reminded me of this fraze (something related with the Huns):

Until all the members realize that, any action taken against Shady will be considered a dictatorship act.

I'll watch my tongue in the main forum and be a little more diplomatic about things. (But I still mean what I said about RoV... SuMGuY seems to be the only one with sense but who really knows?) RoV is on this forum and this server much more than we realize...

Yeah man, SumGuy, Sturm and Naz are the only ones that make sense in the ROV clan (..and they always read our Forum's posts)

I don't know about Sturm and Naz... they've admitted to stealing our ideas and implementing them on their own servers. (that's why you might have heard me say RoV has penis envy, lol.)

Last time I visited an RoV server months ago an Admin, probably Sturm, was talking some shit to me. Kinda funny but still.

We have RoV players that change their names and play on our server. I'm waiting for them to one day slip on come on with their normal name so I can match IP's.

Damn, they showed me (only) respect when I played on their servers. That's kinda disturbing
