Thorgrim - nice persona, been playing online for 3 weeks now, after getting RUNE many years ago...like how some of us started. American flag, courteous, good fun.

NB. I know a lot of players may be casual and stay only a short while, and they might easily change their names etc...but who knows, this may be an alternate, interesting way of archiving the community experience I cherish in RUNE...and one day people may look back and have a few laughs?
I remember being lame as @#%! as 'Hulk' (Quake/CS mindset) for my first hour around here; and jeez did that change very quickly!

I was first drawn to him when I had that game I mentioned in my last post in my Minutes thread, he called me the "Pencil sharpener", and he said it yesterday, too. Its funny, I like him, and he plays a lot. Weeeee get along, unlike a lot of people.

Starting to remind me of me, too... in the loosest sense, its nice to know someone else noticed him.

Though, he is an easy kill (which is fun), but what's so negative about that ? Yay him.

I, too, like my first impression of Thorgrim. I asked him if he was a regular, because he played with honor and some skill, and he said no. I look forward to more games with this guy.

And now you sponsored him. Err, I don't plan on saying yes, you went way to bleepin' fast. I mean, I posted on the forums (but I didn't do it so bloody often...) and I played a ton but it still took me a while, and with good reason. We haven't actually, really, be friended him yet on MSN or on Vent or on anything else. He's been here for, what 3 weeks, feels more like 1 1/2 weeks of way too much posting?

I don't know, I like Thorgrim but you rushed it a bit too much. He signed up on 02/14 and he got a sponsorship on 02/28? In that time he got almost 100 posts, that's a little excessive. Kind of making me think I did something wrong to not deserve it so fast . Watch, he'll get membership months earlier than me at this rate, and that's just kind of awkward.

Meh, not really getting my point out correctly, but whatever. I'll leave it like this, maybe it made sense. Point is, I'm not saying yes and I'm not going to abstain, I might even cast a Yes/No a while after he's already been inducted.

All's that I can say is that every situation is handled differently. There is no uniform policy regarding how long someone needs to be registered or how often they post, or anything else for the matter. Muggy, TwEaK, and Ulfhednar have less than 100 posts combined but they are still fantastic peices of the club.

I like the work that Thorgrim has done with shields, as well as his demeanor both ingame and on the forum. Besides, I met him on runegame.com before he even registered here.

Yeah, I don't know, just seems so fast. I just say I won't bother to cast a little vote yet. He's a neato feller but I'll just hold out for now, we'll see.

I hate waiting around debating politics when things need to get done. Though these polls usually take several weeks before they're finalized; you can get to know him better in that time frame before you cast a vote, Pencil.

Another person I'd like to see as a Minor is Radix. Seems to have made a return lately.

Yes, Radix definitely deserves it. It was a bit of a toss up between him and Thorgrim honestly.

It's been sort of an unwritten rule that only members can sponsor, I'd kinda like to keep it that way.

And Radix is super-de-duper just like Thorgrim , but since I haven't played in the Arena lately with much of anyone, my thoughts on people have been kind of wacky. Radix is great though, but can we kill some people off to make room? Since I started in the arena, there's a lot of people I haven't seen ever.... and then there's people like SHADY. Hmm. Well, not that I insist, but are there people that can actually go, at least until they actually come back to play? Eh.

I was looking at that too. There's some we haven't seen around here for a good long time.
