Hmmmm I was in the arena fighting a couple of noobs, and this lil' Ragnar guy somehow brought a shield into the boxing arena. Random bug or l33t h4ck3r sk1llz? Or am I just quietly going mad...

Only did it once. Though on a little side note, Ragnar did say his other name he used was "Hacker". Was okay guy though, no problem with him and some good fights.

It's gotta be a bug, never seen it though.

If there's a Ragnar that's friendly, talkative, and knows about a bug or two... chances are he's someone from the Rune community.

LOL. That's a neat party trick.

Could be a client side thing sometimes, eg the 'bouquet' of trial pit maces or goblin axes, the extra shorty we carried in cycle-acidchamber, respawning spurting blood until the next death, etc...

Hope you get to the bottom of it.

Saw this stuff again today. Hai_Hao from Taiwan was bringing a handaxe into the boxing arena; did it four or five times. Evidentally it's a matter of picking it up while entering the arena... or perhaps there's a sliver of space between the safe zone and boxing arena. Not sure. Kid probably had a pickup script though.

All the other people in the arena were trying to do it for about an entire match; pencil finally managed to do it once, but I don't think any of us really got the hang of it. Not a nice bug, though...

Wonder who this guy was, he seemed to know pretty well what he was doing, familiar with the LCA layout. He was being a jerk the entire time, kept running from fights then popping up chatbubble on the ledge, so the person chasing him got crucified sometimes. Knew his stuff, but baaaah...

LOL, I've met this one occasionally on the Taiwan Server; hates people spamming, doesn't speak English...pretty OK until someone exploits bugs on him/her...
I think a slow connection helps in the handaxe-smuggle-into-boxing bug; I can do it every now and then if I lower my netspeed because the server think's I'm in a different place to the actual one...

Have fun trying to find him/her and his/her friends in the ocean...

Some other person (in the same skin as Hai-Hao) named Player with no region came into the boxing arena during the lame period today with a handaxe like it was nothing. Didn't even put effort, just came in in an instant. Its not fair!

nah dude, don't worry, that 'Player' was just me deciding to see if I could emulate Hai Hao...I was pretty surprised to get it without the usual number of attempts...

Were you always that 'Player'? Because there's been some lately and they've been jerkbutts in a sense, various skins, too. How the poop did you become player with no flag then? ! Odd! Well actually that does happen when I had that lag-out period and would go into the arena with my other name logged in and me as Player, then eventually my name gets kickered out and I'm yeah and yeah but still! Hmm... pepper.
