Ya its back to the game for a lot of us. So lets just state what we are up to and then take it from there. I know I will be adjusting to school once again and getting this beer belly a growing LOL! It starts on the 7th. I will be taking basically a third year of Digital and Interactive Media Design. Sept. - Aug. YAY!

Anyways I will most likely be around for the weekday evenings. First couple weekends in September might be sketchy but who knows. I will see how shits going then we can get some of those long awaited projects finished and hopefully develop more. We have other games also to give our minds a break from slashing and bashing. BF1942 if you have it is fun with the group of guys we have here. AA is on a beta for most of us. Halo for some, UT2K4 for others.

WE NEED TO FINISH TOURNEY!!!! At least accomplish that!!!

Well, in 2 days school starts for me. Well, it's a first day, then it officially starts after Labor Day. I didn't get my C++ class because of Physics, which really blows. But hey, I'll finish off high school with the C++ at least (I better!), but I won't take Visual Basic. The classes I did get were CAD, which could be cool. If someone could pinpoint me to a good FTP or something to get some CAD applications, that'd be awesome. I hear there's some new 2005 CAD software amuck.

Anyway, it came too fast... and I didn't have stable internet this whole month. A wasted summer, I'm really disappointed. But whatever, we'll see how it goes... new school, some new folks (attended school with these fucks 3 years ago)... whatever. I'm not expecting much...

...hopefully times with you guys here at LowCaliber will help the struggle, eh? It'll be good around here, I know it... let's just hope we find the time.

Calculus is a bitch, and will be a bitch for the entire semester. One of my classes is a Capstone course (ie, a buttload of work). I also made a stupid mistake when scheduling. It seems my Captstone course had two pre-reqs and I didn't realize it. They just happen to be the two other classes I'm registered in.

So basically I'm taking a class I shouldn't be in, the professor pulled me off to the side to say I should probably drop the course. (I've had her for three other classes so she knows me well.) I explained to her that I have to keep my current schedule if I want to graduate in May and that I didn't realize I scheduled it this way. I convinced her to let me stay in, but the class is going to be even tougher than normal.

One of my other classes is taught by the former Dean of business... so yeah, he ain't going to go easy on us.

I'll be fine, as I only have 13 credits this semester. Like I said, I just need a few to adjust to the new workload.

lol yeah... I am knee deep in my second week here and mano is correct about calc. Even worse I don't have my book yet so I'll be way behind when it gets here....
And yeah I did that with chem mano, it had a pre req that I didn't even know about till half way through the semester and it was too late to drop it. Worst part is that I had never had any chem in HS and I signed up with an academic advisor... I thought they should catch it but noo. Only C so far.
So I took a test to test out of a basic computer class but it was sooo easy I said "holy shit!" several times out loud. it was funny. But I have to wait for them to post the results before I can drop the class... then I need to pick something up to keep my full time status and scholorshi[p.
That is what is up with me. lol I actually played a few hours of heroes of migic 2 tonight. Good old fun..

I got the UT2k4 and da AA. Havn't done anything but training on AA though. and im always up for a game if ut2k4. Maybe if I forget I am saving for a downpay I can splurge and get some BF1942.
Buuut I just spent a ton for my new case and watercooling system... and special anit conductive liquid and blue UV reactive dye... that just got here. two days after I got it all working and finished. eh....

hmm... i started school last week. so i'm now doing an advanced course of english and german...
delphi coding will be fun.

What's sad about Calculus is when I got the book I was looking through chapters one and two thinking that I could probably get off to a good start in this class and fizzle out in the end and get a C. Well... when I got there she tells us we start in chapter nine. lol

My advisor said all I have to do is pass, I don't need a specific grade. At this point I don't give a shit about GPA anymore, I just want to get my degree. So I don't care if I get a D-

Just hang in there Mano. I wasn't given the chance to do Calculus in High School (Fuckin Bitch of a Vice Principal) anyways but I have a friend that is in his third year of engineering and he is a calculus nut. I swear there is a calculator inside his head. So if you need a hand hopefully this guy can bring some light. Same goes for you too Socket.

I would be given the chance to take calculus next year, my Senior year, if I had chosen to overwhelm myself this year in high school with math. Math isn't particularly exciting and I see no reason to take a bunch of classes for it, even if I am going into programming in college.

The guy offered for me to take Trig alongside Alg. 2 this year, thus leaving the door open for Calculus next year. Said it would be a lot easier for college, etc... and I'm sure it would. But unfortunately there's no way in hell I'm going to take two math courses when I couldn't even get the other classes I want, the year would be the worst school year of them all. Therefore I'll likely be taking Pre Calc. next year and likely Calculus in college. You folks are just trying to scare me away . Eh, it can't be too bad.

My CAD teacher is a Columbian piece-of-shit who curses too much. I knew teachers in a public school would suck but fuck! What kind of teacher curses constantly to "be cool" in a normal establishment? Meh, at least it is an easy class, etc.

By the way, I had no idea that Physics wasn't required in this school, so I can drop out and take my programming courses! I'll try to do it tomorrow. This means good things for LowCal because I'll go right under Unter's wing as an apprentice/secondary coder . First semester is the prerequisite basic programming and then second semester is C++. Shame I have to drop physics though, but I really hope they let me. Eh, I only like physics because I was able to compile a lab group the second I got in there which means its one of few classes I'm not a loner in . Ah, typical high school crap, huh?

Well although the school sucks and the people are shit, I'll make it. Although the nostalgia does nothing more than disappoint (too much "David, I remember you!" crap everywhere I go?). It's fine... there's more jigs than you'll ever see in your entire life in the entrance to the school... which should explain my bitterness. Can't spend one day there without hearing the nigger word.

P.S. I don't know where else to put this but... I personally called Comcast today, they said they'll have someone over here tomorrow between 5-7. I'm a little underaged to have the tech. support in the house, they prefer a parent so if the mother is home, then I got cable stable tomorrow .

I been in college for 2 weeks now . . . thats kinda partly why i got back into Rune. Classes are: Macro Econ, Financial Accounting, Psycho 101, and Communicating Gender. Looks pretty ez and fun.

As to ur math classes . . . HAHA . . . but seriously both my suitemates are math majors. One is currently writing an honors math book (college level) and the other one could finish his math major by the end of this year if he wanted (hes a sophomore). Crazy.

I'm on my last year of my mastery, so I have to do some redaction. I would go on the top of a mountain and light a big fire, listening to the wind blow and the darkness above us, but I'll have do give a course to some students in college (called CÉGEP here)... so f*** the mountain.

[In other words: L'll cut on the distractions during my mastery redaction and first teaching exp., but I'll still need some relaxation : cutting limbs could be of some use... ]
