It could be that the 8 people limit has been reached.

Pity you couldn't do it if that's the case. But yes, a few times it's gone down; just try a while later when it resets.

[edit] I just tried it and it's down for me too. Feels like it's a crash more than anything else.

Hey this is a good opportunity to bring up the idea of people hosting their own Vents if it's crowded, or if they're probably doing something other than RUNE for a long time.

Get a hold of Vent server 1.05 and set it up and have people connect using Vent 1.06.

You need these versions 'cos later updates need purchase, but the quality is really the same; just less options.

Hmm; it's probably time we run Vent ourselves, anyway.  I'll download the newest server and purchase it, if need be.

It looks like Vent now comes with some .php status scripts; which means we can insert a status bar for Vent under the servers, if desirable.

Yikes, dude; the projects are piling up like courtiers:

• Headball
• Downloads
• Stats
• Tutedit
• Vent

Have to knock them off like flies; though work this semester is a jealous wife.

You can put a few of those projects on the backburner.. if headball is in such high demand, maybe we can put the second server to work until we can get the mod out?
