Maybe it's just me, or does the site load very slow for you guys? Since the forum was upgraded it almost feels like dial-up around here. I only get it on this site, nowhere else...

Does it every once in awhile. But a cache cleaning and a reboot of your modem or a reset of your router seems to work.

Seems fine to me.

I've done all the "tricks". It's bizarre to me because it only happens here.

I sometimes get the samething Mano, who's your isp. I still have the same hamster but it's been lapsing lately.

I've got Charter Communications and she runs like a champ.

Mmm, it used to always go slow after the upgrade, but it is damn fine now. Heck, I even use this site to test my connection (to see if it still is up, since cable is so unstable, using it since 'lcc' is my run command, easy to type ). Now, cache cleaning? No'suh, my 10mb Opera cache affects nothing, really only improves it, and is never actually fragmented, if possible. And resetting my router?! For this site?! That would just be insane, if it works for you then something is fucky over there with your DSL. I just don't see why I would want to kill my connection in hopes of just one site's fault. It is Low Caliber's server, not Comcast's... roar.

It is an obvious server problem, though, however if you have it and I don't now... then something could be up. Also, can't blame my location, as r0x is in CA and everything is fine for him.

Site is running slow at this time.

I haven't really had any problems except for once or twice.

It seems alright to me. Sometime I must click on refresh to enter, rarely worse.

i've been using a whole bunch of pop-up killers, adware blockers, spyware squashers and often it means i have to reload this page because some sort of ad is being blocked.

paranoid perhaps: who watches the watchers?

Ads? ain't got no ads in the house.  I notice that the new software does employ pop-ups quite heavily for the sake of posting and editing, however.

On the other hand, the default Mozilla pop-up protection seems to recognize invited and uninvited ones.
