Did we clamp down on the channel for a particular reason?

it used to be frequented by many, now hardly anyone joins.

I guess ventrilo made it obselete?

I mean the chan-op only mode; might make it less accessible to the public.

ok i know how to go in to the chat room and how to send messages once im there, i dont know shit about this q mumbo jumbo.i tried it but i couldnt figure it out nor get it to work so bleh anyways fill me in. oh and how do i get a fansy shmansy @ sign in front of my name!?!?!
