I want to get a tournament going. But I need cooperation from my fellow members and minors.
Type of tournament is undecided at the moment. Few things that have been thrown around are: 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, team headball, team deathmatch and Capture the Torch. I am setting a standard game hour for play. From the hours of 8 p.m. to 12 p.m. Central Standard Time Zone. This time frame is usually when most of you are active. Requirements for this tournament will be as follows: Rune with HOV(not decided in full on this), Ventrilo and the time and dedication to actually finish the tournament.

Please post here of ideas, suggestions and anything related to the fact. I want to have a tournament actually start and finish without it dying off mid ladder climb.

Sounds good. We should schedule them more often and perhaps record the name of the winner(s) somewhere on the site. The more events the better.

Ya Eis I think we will have to schedule these tourneys around the weekend to better help the European players and to allow us here for longer nights. I myself am Spiderman in disguise with a mix of Superman! LOL! damn paper. But ya I want to actually get threw a few tourneys and kind of establish a pattern and habit of keeping it going. Early attempts by myself and Wint weren't very successful so I want to one better it.

We'll do 2vs2 matches - best of five. (probably in a map like AR-Champions) or in the arena if someone doesn't have HOV.

It'll be a single elimination tournament. And we'll set up a random bracket based on how many teams we get.

P.S. Mid, is this for members/minors only? I'm assuming since it's posted in the Red Carpet...

I'll definately be up and running this weekend. I'm scheduled to be back home and online by Saturday. I'll be home for two whole weeks. So if the tourney falls in that time period, I'm in.

DAMN IT!!! My buddy is coming out on the weekend of the 17th!!!!! Also a concert and lots of free alcohol on the 16th. LOL!! Hmmmm. Well could we start setting up rules, regulation, randomization of teams/team groupings, ladder, events(was thinking of a multi-teared ladder with different events Roman, Shorty, Gobo, Fist etc.) also just any other types of ideas would be appreciated.

what about "last man standing"? min. 5 players stand in the arena (in a circle) and start fighting. the last man standing gets 1 point. the first one with 5 (we can increase that if neccesary) wins the match. of course we need one neutral person who watches the game (a ref). the one who wins the game is the ref for the next one.
