it took for ever had to finally crate a broadsword acter then select all braod swords just to find it nice hidy place

I'm having trouble with special brushes can't seemto make them solid 2 sided and transperant any ideas?

What kind of special brush?

If it helps, you can use a regular brush and play with the 'surface properties' and textures (to achieve the desired transparency):
