I am not exceptionally naive, dull, young, or inexperienced. I am not depriving anyone of their "freedom" to say anything. I left the game, leaving you to continue your fun there. I went to another channel on Vent. I left the Vent server when people continually used text-to-speech binds and even came into the channel I was in. In none of these actions was I forbidding you to do anything. Later on, after something more occured that seemed directly aimed at me, I came back on Vent and tried to discuss it. I truely fail to see how anyone can interpret my behavior as taking away your fun or freedom, pushing my morals, etc. I asked, as between friends, that you avoid certain behavior around me; I was not demanding even.

All I have ever asked is that you show a little more consideration and respect. I try to show the same respect for you guys; if I was saying or doing something that offends, I would try to solve things as quickly as possible.


To construe the holding of one's tongue and refraining from vulgarities in the presence of a sensitive person as the taking away of your freedom of speech is as nonsensical as thinking that holding a door open for a woman is a sign of weakness or submission....

It seems to me that you have taken one part of Midknights post out of context and ran with it. That is not the best of strategies when engaging in debate. Likewise, the comment about holding doors was really putting unncessary spin the subject.

Man, that was kinda inappropriate for the time being. I did think you guys would have alittle more respect for her than that.I guess not.
I am however sticking up for her on this one guys.

p.s. Let's not have this subject destroy this club.We are here mainly for games.I admit to being alittle disrespectful at times, but don't count that against me because I see two sides to this subject.Also, I see where Midknight is comming from and also where Yellow is comming from. You two just need to come to an agreement.

Yeah, I meant no disrespect or anything.
Yellow is a great person and fun to play with. I can see both sides as well. On the one hand it is very frustrating for all the guys who want to bee free and have fun and joke when one person is offended and wants them to stop. It is like a ton of cars going and having to stop and wait for one car to turn left or something like that. On the other hand I can see how yellow must feel. She likes hanging out with everyone in this club (it's a fun club) and having fun etc. When people start saying things that offend her, and she asks for it to be toned down and no one cares or listens and perhaps does it even more, it has to feel frustrating that no one respects your wishes to the extent that the offensiveness increases. She could just leave if she doesn't like it but that is kind of sucky if she likes hanging out with us etc.
I can't really blame her for her morals, perhaps she is being a bit over sensative but I also can't blame everyone else for not wanting to submit to demands to tone things down and hold back when they are having fun in a club that they pay to help maintain....
I don't know what the solution is, but I agree that I don't want to see yellow or anyone leave because of such a silly thing. ..... .

Thing is, we're not woman-friendly, nor should we be.  In a climate of sexual politics and gynaecocracy, where man castrates himself before every peevish sensibility at work and school, Low Caliber was designed as a refuge.
