Im all for sicking rev on him But i guess until he pisses enough people off i will just have to distant myself from Shady. He's actually a pretty decent rune player. It's a shame he's under the spell of the darkside

The only thing I've found that works against Shady is to challenge him to a best of 3 - loser leaves. He actually keeps to his word and leaves if he loses.

Yeah that's interesting, Min; dogs do the same thing when they piss on fire hydrants and trees.

Yeah i would leave. But good idea about waiting until im about to leave anyways to offer that challenge. And yeah Dante i have noticed shady tends to sugarcoat in front of certain members and then turn in to his normal lovley self around others.

Y'know i have NEVER seen Shady being an ass or anything . . . do i just always run into him on Good Days or Honourable moods or what? I mean i see you guys talking about how horrible he is all the time, but i've played him 6 or 8 times online and have never seen this "darkside" . . .

his dark side is there...it's always there when i play him. his favorite thing to do seems to be jumping into the 1v1 arena and hitting you before you can pick up the rune of spoils...then he laughs

If you can learn to play with him by his rules, I've found him to be quite fun to play with. No doubt about it, he IS a good fighter.

Shady is good for venting anger on, since you don't play very fairly when you're angry, and not playing fairly is what he's all about.

Shady's fortitude deserves, if not recognition, a smidgeon of manly respect.  By manly respect I mean: to temper our injurèd passions on the server.

yeah, it can get ugly sometimes, but i'd ask people to keep this in mind for when they cool off: who actually lost a bit of themselves there?
we're human but nevermind for a moment who was being provocative; who has seen a brief flash of reflection of their own faces in the computer screen during these times and not like what they saw? frankly i was more disgusted with myself; i've seen much worse behaviour and been verbally assaulted before in worse ways.

i've been able to play with shady quite okay for some weeks now. thats peanuts compared to some of you, i'm sorry, but i'm glad his stats and name is protected at least; i might not like his sense of 'fun' but this way noone can masquerade as him and noone will forget that stats-wise, he is a good rune player.
