Visited my local computer store today, got some stuff I needed. Now I just need to dust off this second machine of mine, probably reformat it and I should be able to make a dedicated server out of it.

Fais, I was going to buy a garbage used monitor from the local computer shop for 30 bucks (but then face another $30 on a cheapass computer cart)

But in the end I just picked up a 2 port KVM switchbox for $45. With the KVM switchbox you can use the same mouse, keyboard and monitor on two machines. Just switch back and forth. nice and easy.

Thers is also a dvice (cant remember the name), where you can switch between the pcs. I mean the monitos shows than the other pc and so on.

Also for a dedicated server you dont need the monitor all the time, Just only, when you set it up.
